Recessed Mount Magnetic Switches are compact, high-speed devices that operate much like relays by responding to the presence of a magnetic field. When a magnet approaches, it pulls the internal contacts together, closing the circuit. When the magnet is removed, a spring mechanism causes the contacts to separate, breaking the connection. Thanks to the lightweight contacts, these switches react up to 10 times faster than traditional relays. Their discreet 1/4″ press-fit design makes them perfect for hidden or embedded installations like wooden doors or cabinets.
