Description
Recessed Mount Magnetic Switches operate similarly to relays by responding to magnetic fields. When a magnet approaches, it pulls internal contacts together to complete the circuit. Once the magnet is removed, the spring-loaded contacts separate, breaking the circuit. These switches are remarkably fast—up to 10 times quicker than conventional relays—thanks to their lightweight, low-mass contacts. Designed for easy installation, this 3/8″ diameter model with a longer body and 18″ wire leads is ideal for deeper recessed applications and wider operating gaps.
