Description

Surface Mount Magnetic Switches function similarly to relays, using magnetic fields to make or break an electrical connection. When a magnet comes near, it attracts one metal contact toward the other, completing the circuit. Once the magnet moves away, a spring mechanism separates the contacts, breaking the connection.
